The State of the Art, CoE, is designed to nurture and develop the students as Industry Ready for better employability, entrepreneurship and higher education in terms of industrial skill with sound theoretical and practical hands-on exposure. Industrial Automation has become an essential part of every industry. A programmable logic controller (PLC) is designed and customized for industrial automation; Our Industrial automation course helps students/ participants gain in-depth hands-on experience in industrial automation. Automation helps industry to increase the quality, accuracy and precision of industrial processes. It helps increase productivity. The need for automation will always increase. The automation industry creates many job vacancies. It covers the entire manufacturing and processing sector.
Training:
Data Science is an emerging multidisciplinary science with immense potential. Due to its generic and multi-disciplinary nature, Data Science can easily synergise among a large number of disciplines. In particular, Data Analytics can be applied to address challenging problems in diverse areas like climate, health, social sciences, and others. The establishment therefore, will add an important component to both its teaching and research programmes.
Sustainable and inclusive development in a changing climate are among the major challenges that humanity faces today. Equally important are the challenges of adoption and development of new technologies for enhancing food security and quality of life. The proposed KU-IFSA Centre of Excellence in Sustainable and Inclusive Development (CoESID) will address critical issues like climate change adaptation and resilience, disaster resilience, inclusive health, smart agriculture, renewable energy, bioeconomy, conservation of biodiversity and other issues with a focus on North-East.
Policy studies play critical roles in many dimensions of national development through providing evidence-based decision support to design of optimal development pathways. In-depth policy studies are becoming more critical with the growth of the Indian economy and complex geo-politics. At the same time, North-East, the new engine of growth for India, needs a comprehensive policy analysis. Establishment of KU-IFSA Centre of Excellence for Policy and Social Studies (CoEPSS), therefore, will add an important component to both its teaching and research programmes.
The recognition of KU as a Centre of Excellence by Resource Centre, North East Region will enable KU to catalyze the activities under SDGs and MDGs. Furthermore, KU will also intensify activities to promote Welfare, Developmental. Youth Empowerment and other themes.
This Centre shall formulate intervention and appropriate action plan which will make indigenous communities’ partners of development and enable them to acquire power for removing injustice imposed on them. There is an urgent need to make provision for training for various emergency roles, planning, decision making, implementation and skill development and respond to new job opportunities.
This CoE is at the Heath of new ideas and intervention of the same into businesses. The aim of KU – Start-up Incubator (CoE – Innovation and Entrepreneurship) is to foster innovation and entrepreneurship skillsets amongst students.
