Electrical engineering is a branch of the fascinating world of engineering that has been experiencing remarkable popularity in recent times. The Bureau of Labour Statistics projects a 7% increase in employment opportunities in electrical engineering by the year 2030, signifying the growing significance of this field in the engineering domain. Nearly all manufacturing units employ Electrical Engineers. After completion, the graduates will have job prospects in prominent public and private sector organisations, including electricity boards, large-scale industries, hydroelectricity power plants, manufacturing plants, and more.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must fulfil the following norms.

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 (Science stream) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. A 5% relaxation in marks is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. And with a minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with any one of the following subjects: (Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship)
