AN OVERVIEW

Kaziranga University always gives emphasis to promote international admission of students into different programs offered by the university. we are pleased to mention the students from Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh and some of the African countries are perusing their higher education in Kaziranga University.

Kaziranga University also promotes higher education opportunity for master and PhD in international Universities of repute like in countries USA, UK, Germany, Netherlands, etc.

Campus Life

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE

The International Relations Office provides various facilitation services to international students of The Assam Kaziranga University including without limitation:

Facilitating mandatory international student registration with the Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO) Government of India;
Academic mentoring and monitoring of academic progression and other academic matters;
Accommodation related matters;
Incident response (emergencies, accidents, critical incidents, natural disasters);
Advice about services available to them and where to get help;
Understanding of KU Policies and Procedures; and
Acclimatisation to life at KU and the broader community, helping students with issues like home sickness, cultural, social and academic adjustment.

STUDENT MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

Recognising the importance of cultural and academic integration of international students within the KU community, the University employs a robust Student Mentorship Programme. The programme focuses on both, academic as well as social mentorship, and is conducted through our dynamic Faculty and senior students.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is available for students who wish to opt for housing on campus. Housing is available in 4 hostels – 2 girls and 2 boys, and in various sharing or single basis. The hostels also have dining facilities, where hygienic and healthy food is served during meal timings. Currently, all our international students reside on campus.
