PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Bachelor of Science (Honours) Dialysis is an undergraduate degree programme that focuses on providing students with specialised knowledge and skills in the field of dialysis and renal care. The program is designed to train professionals who can effectively operate dialysis machines, monitor patients undergoing dialysis treatment, and provide essential care and support to individuals with kidney-related health issues. Students learn about anatomy and physiology, renal pathology and diseases, dialysis techniques and technology, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, pharmacology, medical ethics, and patient care under this programme. Graduates of this programme can find employment in hospitals, dialysis centres, kidney care clinics, and research institutions specialising in nephrology and renal care.
NOTE: Student will have an option to exit at the end of 6th semester(3yrs) to obtain a degree in Bachelor of Science (Honours) Dialysis
