Dr Singh is currently Advisor & Distinguished Professor with two Indian private universities, namely Dr KN Modi University, Modi Nagar, UP & Rajasthan as well as The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat, Assam. He also teaches & mentors faculty members and students at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow & Jaipur.
Earlier, Dr Singh has been with Patanjali Ayurved Ltd its Advisor Organization Development during 2016-17. During this period, he defined Talent Acquisition, Performance Management Systems & Patanjali Work Culture processes.
During 2002-2015 Dr Singh led human resources team at RJ Corp, world’s second largest Pepsi Bottler and owners of 600 plus Pizza Hut, KFC, Costa Coffee in three countries. RJ Corp has other business interests (ice cream, health care, retail and education) in 19 countries across four continents.
Dr Singh was also associated with Escorts Group (1993-2000), where he did pioneering work in domains of Assessment Center, Value Based Performance Culture, Performance Counseling, Proactive IR, Leadership Practices, and Career Modeling.
He had long innings in PSU’s such as Vishakhapatnam Steel Plant and Hindustan Copper Limited between 1982- 1993, where he managed employee relations as well as management development functions.
In his earlier assignments, he has been a researcher, teacher and trainer in VM National Institute of Cooperative Management & University of Pune (1974-77), Institute of Company Secretaries of India (1978-1979) and All India Management Association (1979-1982).
A post graduate from University of Calcutta with specialization in Business Laws, he has post graduate qualifications in Personnel Management from Punjabi University. He earned his doctoral degree from University of Pune, where he defended his dissertation on organization effectiveness (1977). He has been a Study Fellow, Department of Management Studies with University of Leeds (1985).
He has published 20 research and experiential papers and articles in leading management journals. He has keen interest in following domains: Vision & Mission Planning, Employee P&L, and Psychometric Testing & Indian Value Systems.
Dr Singh is an Executive & Life Coach associated with International Coach Federation, USA & Member, Mentor Pool, EverWise, USA.
Dr Singh teaches, coaches and mentors students periodically at Indian Institutes of Management, Raipur, Ranchi & Jammu. He also coaches students of Master’s Program on OD & Change at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
