Being in the forefront for bringing renowned corporate houses and multinational companies into the region, Kaziranga University recently played host to global New York based professional services firm Genpact in their Pool Campus Recruitment Drive on 26th March 2019. Headed by Kaziranga University's Career Development & Placement Cell (CDPC), this drive saw 174 students from all over the region vie for Process Associate positions at Genpact India, to be placed in Kolkata, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Jaipur. A total of 47 offers from Genpact were finally made available to the participating students, who joined the campus drive from JB College, Amguri College, CKB Commerce College, Mariani College, JDSG College (Bokakhat), N.N Saikia College (Mariani), Jorhat Central College, Sibsagar Commerce College, Kaziranga University among several other notable names. With impressive placement achievements for students over the last few years, recruitment drives such as this are definitely in line with Kaziranga University's mission of being a trusted and effective determinant for career development in the North East. Campus Pool Drives for other renowned corporates such as Tata Consultancy Services have also been held at Kaziranga University earlier. As of March 2019, a total number of 75 companies have visited Kaziranga University for recruitment, with 409 offers being made to the students. It is a matter of pride for Kaziranga University to state that 350 of these offers were made to Kaziranga University students, with offers as high as Rs. 9 Lakhs per annum. Some of these companies include Byjus – The Learning App, Webskitters Technologies, RBL FinServe Ltd., OYO Rooms Ltd., JBMI Industries, Hiferk Technology, Aircon Elevators, among several other notable names. Students of the University have also been placed in international locations like Dubai. Three MBA students of the Batch of 2018 were placed at Emirates Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare operations in the Middle East, with an annual package of 5 lakhs per annum. Over the last five years, the CDPC has placed more than 600 students across the School of Engineering & Technology (SET) and the School of Business (SOB) in renowned corporate houses, companies and firms all over India and in International locations. With unprecedented achievements in Placement in the region, Kaziranga University has definitely positioned itself as an un-challenged leader among private Universities in the region.
