It is the largest airline in India in passenger carrying share with 39.8% market share as of January 2017 and 8 th largest carrier in Asia with over 41 million passengers carried in 2016. The airline is the second largest low cost carrier in Asia. IndiGo went public in November 2015, currently having a fleet size of 129 with revenue of US $2.5 billion for 2016, IndiGo operates 818 daily flights to 45 destinations, 39 in India and 6 abroad.
