A workshop on Recent Developments in Civil and Earthquake Engineering (RDCEE-18) was conducted on 9th April 2018 at NEIST-CSIR (Formerly RRL) in Jorhat, Assam. The Organisers were Dr.Leon Raj, Scientist, NEIST-CSIR, Dr. Debasis Mohanty, Scientist, NEIST-CSIR and Dr. Sudip Basack, Professor of Head of Civil Engineering, Kaziranga University. The workshop commenced from 9 am and ended at 5.30 pm. There were outstanding participation of KU Faculty Members and pre-final year's B.Tech and M.Tech.students of Civil Engineering. About 100 participants from KU attended the workshop as registered delegates. There were also other participants from Jorhat Engineering College and other technical institutions of the North East region. The technical presentations were well appreciated by the participants. There were also one research exhibition session where the recent research projects were demonstrated to the participants. Lastly, in the concluding session, certificates from CSIR were distributed to the participants.
