KU and IIRS ISRO have jointly organized 50th Outreach program on “Basics of Remote Sensing Geographical Information System and Global Navigation Satellite System” from 22nd August to 19th November 2019. In this three duration program participants were taught about the basics satellite remote sensing, GIS, spatial and temporal data analysis using qGiS software.

The Participants included students from School of Engineering and Technology and from the School of Computing Science including some faculty members from both the schools. Out of 149 registered participants only 73 of them were selected to appear for the online exam. The students having attendence more than 75% and submitted all the assignments are allowed to sit for the examination.
