As a part of the course- SNP (Selling, Negotiating and Persuading skills_SB10152) which is designed to explain the various selling and negotiating techniques, students of BBA and BCom semester IV of School of Business- Assam Kaziranga University, underwent a practical group assignment assigned by Ms Lipika Sarmah, Assistant Professor- School of Business. The assignment was aimed to develop a business idea and to evaluate their selling and negotiating skills.
Each group consisting of five members came out with unique business idea and invested Rs 50 in the business. It was mandatory that the business portfolio had to be done under Rs 50. The activity was held on 6th May in School of Business from 2pm-4:30pm and all the groups came out with different and amazing ideas.
The groups came out with epitome of ideas like Scrunchies, Planner, Masala Coke, Fun Games, Cup Cakes, Tea Bags, Bookmarks, Masala Wai-Wai chats, Pani Puri shots, Lemon Juice, Sandwich, etc. There were all total 16 groups. All business ideas were really successful and students from other departments and faculty members were present and they really appreciated our products and service as they became our happy clients.
It was a fun learning activity, where we got to learn more about managing funds in most optimal way in order to make profit including customer delight, selling techniques, negotiating skills, leadership and team work.
