Design Thinking Workshop Conducted for MBA Students at KU

A "Design Thinking" workshop for MBA 2nd semester students of the School of Business, Kaziranga University, took place on 1st April 2019.

Design Thinking is a systematic method of solving problems. More than a methodology or framework, design thinking combines the problem-solving roots of design with deep empathy for the user. The workshop was conducted by Mr Jishnu Changkakoti, who has completed his Executive Program in Mastering Design Thinking from MIT Sloan School of Management. Mr Jishnu was supported by Prof Agnimitra Biswas, Dean School of Business, Kaziranga University who is an IBM Certified Design Thinking Practitioner himself.

The students gained valuable insights into creative thinking, understanding consumers and problem solving through this workshop. They gained hands-on experience on key design thinking concepts such as Empathy Mapping, Observation & Engagement Techniques, Need Analysis, Ideation, SCAMPER and Prototyping. Students had a great time, having fun and learning at the same time, wishing if all their classes could be like this!
