On 27.03.2022, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kaziranga University, organized an Expert Talk online on the Use of AI/ ML in Agriculture Technology. Prof. Rajendra Machavaram, Associate Professor, Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur was the expert speaker of the session. The event was hosted by Dr. Utpal Barman. Dean SET, Dr. T V V L N Rao, Dean SCS, Prof Ratan Kr. Saha, Mrs. Mousoomi Bora, HoD CSE, Department, Other faculties from CSE Department were also present in the session and had interacted with participants and Experts. Participants from various universities and institutes such as The Assam Royal Global Universities, KKSHOU, and GIMT Guwahati also joined in the session, Prof. Rajendra Machavaram pointed out the Agricultural Tractor engine performance using ANN, Tractor drawbar performance using ML, and Crop disease detection using machine and deep learning techniques in his session.
