The National Workshop is conducted to mark the celebration of 75 years of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Government of India. The workshop was composed of two technical sessions:
Technical session I: Talk by two eminent recourse persons, Prof. Pritam Deb, DPIIT Chair Professor IPR Cell, Tezpur University and Dr. A.K. Srivastava, NRDC, Delhi.
Technical session II: Online presentation of innovative ideas by selected participants. 
The workshop was inaugurated in presence of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Dr P.K. Mishra, and Registrar, Dr Srihari Krishna of The Assam Kaziranga University, Prof. P Deb- DPIIT IPR
Chair Tezpur University, Dr A. K. Srivastava- Innovation Facilitation Centre, NRDC, New Delhi, Dr Jaynata K Sarmah-Dean School of Basic Sciences, The Assam Kaziranga University
and 135 registered participants from Assam Kaziranga University and other Institutes.

Technical session I was carried out with 2 presentations from the resource persons
Topic 1: Innovation: Analyzing its position in the IP landscape by Prof. P. Deb
Topic 2: NRDC: Promoting Innovations-Transforming Lives by Dr A. K. Srivasatva

Technical session II was composed of 12 presentation of innovative and entrepreneurship ideas.
Students were from all the schools of The Assam Kaziranga University, IPR cell Tezpur University, Department of Physics Tezpur University, Savitribai Phule Pune University and
CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat.
