Project display competition on 28th February at SET open area, KU

School of Computing Science and Department of CSE jointly organized a project display competition on 28th February at SET open area. 20 final year and pre final year projects (from CSE, IT, ME, CE departments) were displayed in this competition. The projects were judged by the deans of different schools on the following criteria:

  1. Whether the identified problem really exists in the society/market/industry?
  2. How big is the problem?
  3. Visibility of the solution in terms of attainability, realistic, timeline, measurable.
  4. Usability: level of acceptance of the solution among the target group.
  5. Economic sustainability: Adoption potential of the solution to become environment-friendly or address environmental problems.

The judges were appreciative about the level of projects the students have done and also suggested few modifications to the students so that the students can come up with a refined version projects by the end of semester. The top 5 projects will be sent for IIC national innovation contest.
