On 17th November,2017 Prerona Pratibandhi Sishu Bikash Kendra, SNAC Assam, organized a regional workshop in Jorhat in association with National Trust to create awareness amongst public, parents of persons with disabilities, Govt. officials etc about National Trust Act 1999 ,different schemes and activities of National Trust. Mr. U. K. Shukla, Legal Adviser, National Trust graced the occasion as a resource person and moderator to the panelist. The event was organized at Assam Kaziranga University campus in which the faculty members and students of school of social sciences attended the workshop. Apart from them different Govt. officials of Social Welfare department, Education department etc. also attended the programme from all over the state. The event was inaugurated by Shri Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, Hon'ble Member of Parliament with lightning the ceremonial lamp, followed by his inaugural speech. Next Sayera Rahman,Principal Prerona welcomed the guest and participants.
