The Assam Kaziranga University organised a Webinar and Panel Discussion on "Entrepreneurship and Importance of being Self Reliant" on October 7, 2020 in partnership with FICCI and Amway. 

The Key Speakers for the event were : Dr. PG Ramesh, Dean School of Engineering & Technology and Dean Centre of Excellence at KU, Mr. Samar Singh Sheikhawat an industry veteran, Mr. Rajat Banerji, National Head -Corporate Affairs at Amway India, Dr. Analjyoti Basu, Asst Professor at KU.

Dr PG Ramesh, in the inaugural Speech, discussed the 3 c's of Entrepreneurship, i.e., Creativity Skills and Ability, Collaborative Skills, and Courage. Mr. Rajat Banerjee in his speech focused on different models of entrepreneurship, the importance of entrepreneurship in Indian Society, Social responsibility of Entrepreneurship, and the role of direct selling in Entrepreneurship. The topics of Indian Economy in Pre and Post Covid , the race to gain global power, Bringing Vaccine and its introduction in Market, and future of job, education and technology were the topics taken by Mr. Samar Singh Sheikhawat. Dr. Analjyoti Basu, in his speech took the issue of the need of entrepreneurship within the student groups.

The entire session was moderated by Ms Shaheen Akhtar Wahab, Asst Professor at KU and Mr. Vivek Mishra Assistant Director at FICCI facilitated the event.
