Webinar on Engineering as a Career conducted by Department of Computer Science and Engineering School of Engineering & Technology

A webinar was held on May 29th, 2021. The event was conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Assam Kaziranga University with an objective to acquaint the students about Engineering as a Career. The program was coordinated by Ms. Mousoomi Bora, HoD, C.S.E Department. The welcome address was delivered by the Dean, School of Engineering & Technology Professor Dr. P.G Ramesh where Dr. Ramesh had extended his greetings to the invited speaker Mr. Manash Dutta, all the registered participants, faculty members and staff from the department. The topic of the webinar was "Engineering as a Career. The Invited Guest was Mr. Manash Dutta. Mr. Manash Dutta is currently working as Sr. Regional Sales Manager, Siemens Energy. He is responsible for Industrial Gas Turbine and serving Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Mr. Dutta has been in the industry for last 21 years working with various Fortune 500 organizations. He is a Seasoned Power plant professional, roaming all over the world, serving the customers. He is a Mechanical Engineer from Jorhat Engineering College and completed his post-graduation in thermal power plant engineering, from NPTI Delhi in 2000. A registration link was created and shared among the students for the registration. The participants were mostly Class 12+ students, students from Poytechneques, Cotton University, and Assam Kaziranga University. The session was delivered in Google meet with more than 100 + participants.

Following this program, all the participants were awarded with e-certificates from the university. The appreciation letter was sent by the Dean (SET) to the invited speaker. The event was concluded with a few words of appreciation by Ms. Mousoomi Bora.
