Kaziranga University (KU) proudly hosted TechBlitz 2025, one of its largest and most anticipated science and technology events, on October 15th and 16th, 2025. The two-day flagship event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 1000 Class 12 science students from 29 schools and colleges across Assam and Nagaland, marking a significant milestone in KU’s commitment to fostering scientific curiosity and innovation among young learners.
TechBlitz, an annual initiative of KU, aims to introduce students to emerging technologies and innovations in Engineering, Health Sciences, and allied disciplines. Through interactive workshops, live demonstrations, and expert-led sessions, the event offers a dynamic platform for students to explore cutting-edge scientific concepts and bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications.
At the event, KU students proudly showcased their projects, research, and knowledge, creating a vibrant environment where learning and innovation went hand in hand. All departments from Engineering and Health Sciences actively contributed, making the event truly “by the students, for the students.” Visitors were particularly impressed with KU’s green campus, state-of-the-art labs, and the interactive learning experience that combined education with fun.
This year, TechBlitz introduced a Science Model Competition, which drew outstanding participation from seven colleges across the region. Students presented innovative, research-driven models that demonstrated practical applications of science and technology. The winner of the competition was Furkating Senior Secondary School, Golaghat, while TRB Senior Secondary School, Sivasagar secured the second position. The participants displayed confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
Prominent schools and colleges participating in TechBlitz 2025 included Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Reliance Senior Secondary School, Aryabhatta Senior Secondary School, Delhi Public School, ONGC Nazira, TRB Senior Secondary School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, and many others from across Assam and Nagaland.
University representatives emphasized that TechBlitz serves as a bridge between academic learning and real-world innovation, inspiring students to pursue careers in science, technology, and research.
TechBlitz 2025 reaffirmed Kaziranga University’s commitment to empowering young minds, fostering a culture of innovation, and promoting experiential learning across the North-East region.
