Summary of Resource Person:

Dr Anjan Saikia, Principal of Cinnamara College. He is a Doctorate from North Eastern Hill University in the discipline of History. He completed his doctorate under the guidance of Prof Manorama Sarma. He has edited and authored several books and has many publications to his credit. He is also a member of several prestigious bodies.

Dr Ranju Kumar Bharali, Assistant Professor and IQAC Coordinator, Dept of Economics, Cinnamara College, Jorhat.

The Registrar & Dean of School of Social Sciences, Dr Sumita Sarkar, Deputy Registrar Dr Dorothy Buragohain and Controller of Examinations, Dr Pritom Jyoti Sarma came together along with the faculty members of School of Social Sciences to witness the formalisation of the collaborative relationship between the School of Social Sciences and Cinnamara College, Jorhat through signing of an MoU(Memorandum of Understanding). Dr Anjan Saikia, Principal and Dr Ranju Bharali, Assistant Professor of Economics Dept represented Cinnamara College. The MoU opens the door towards new opportunities in the field of research, faculty exchange and student development. Both the parties look forward to a fruitful partnership. The parties have also agreed to have annual review meetings of the partnership to discuss the new scope of collaboration.
