Kakojan College organized a two-day seminar (14-15 March 2024) focusing on "Environment, Sustainable Development, and Gender in North East India: Issues and Challenges," and we were honored to collaborate with them on this initiative. Our esteemed faculty members, Dr. Rakesh Rai (Professor & Dean) and Dr. Golak Bihari Patra (Associate Professor and Associate Dean) from the School of Social Sciences represented Kaziranga University as resource persons, contributing their expertise and insights to enrich the discussions. A total of 109 participants from various educational institutes joined the seminar, making it a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and exploration of solutions to critical issues in our region.
