It gives us immense joy to share that on 18th September 2019, Kaziranga University signed an MoU with UNESCO Association, Guwahati, the signing took place between Dr. Aswini Sharma, (Secretary-General of UNESCO Association and Executive Director of UN Research Centre, North East India) and Dr. Dr. Golak B. Patra (Assistant Professor and Associate Dean, School of Social Sciences, Kaziranga University), in the presence of the honourable Vice-Chancellor, K.U, Dr P.K Mishra. There was an Awareness Programme on the functioning of Organizations under United Nations jointly organised by UNESCO Association, Guwahati and School of Social Sciences, K.U. Dr Aswini oriented the students about the organization and in addition, also introduced facilities and services of the Youth Hostel Association of India. The session was attended by faculty and students of the university. It was all in all an enriching experience.
