A NASSCOM study reports that 85% of the 6.8 crore graduates in India are unemployable. Human Resource personnel from various leading companies across the country state that this low employability is a result of one primary reason – the lack of practical knowledge and professionalism within the freshman workforce.

The Learn, Earn and Develop (LEAD) Programme, initiated by the Kaziranga University Marketing and Admissions Team, seeks to supplement your education at KU through the practical application of classroom learning and interaction with industry leaders. It will provide students with the opportunity to develop key professional skills while earning. LEAD is an activity-oriented programme that seeks to connect successful professionals with students through seminars, workshops, talks, informal discussions and field trips. The programme will also provide an opportunity for a select group of students to represent their college and earn various incentives in the process. The programme will be entirely student-driven under the able guidance of a team with a collective experience of 50 years in various fields ranging from marketing to legal.
