Congratulations to Dr. Asadulla Asraf Ali for Prestigious INSA HS Young Associate Recognition! The Department of Chemistry at Kaziranga University is proud to announce that Dr. Asadulla Asraf Ali, our distinguished alumnus and recently appointed Assistant Professor, has been honored with the INSA History of Science Young Associate (HS YA) recognition for 2024. This prestigious accolade, awarded by the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) to only two exceptional researchers annually, was conferred during the 90th Anniversary General Meeting of INSA held on December 10, 2024, at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. Dr. Ali was felicitated by Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, President of INSA, in a grand ceremony celebrating excellence in scientific research and innovation. Dr. Ali’s pioneering work focuses on Heritage Science, Dyes and Pigments Chemistry, and Water Purification Technologies. He completed his PhD at the Department of Chemical Sciences, Tezpur University, where he made significant contributions to
the conservation of heritage materials. His postdoctoral research at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, expanded his expertise in advanced materials and stable isotope studies.
