The Assam Kaziranga University has entered into an agreement to serve as an implementation institution for the IBM Advanced IT Skills Program, facilitated by the ICT Academy. This CSR initiative focuses on equipping final-year graduating students with industry-ready expertise in Artificial Intelligence.

The program was an initiative taken by Mr. Chiranjeeb Kumar Das, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology who is also the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for ICT Academy to the university. The Program was Authorized by Respected Dean of School of Engineering & Technology Dr. Ripunjoy Gogoi and Respected Dean of School of Computing Sciences Dr. Dibya Jyoti Bora.

The program was 42 hours, consisting of 16 hours of self-learning modules, 24 hours of Live Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and 2 hours of post-assessment. The 24 hours of Live Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and 2 hours of post-assessment was held in the campus of the university between 5^th of January 2026 to 8^th of January 2026 for Batch I and 9^th of January 2026 to 13^th of January 2026 for Batch II.
