The Department of Optometry from The Assam Kaziranga University had he valuable opportunity to attend the Eastern Regional Optometry Conference, a premier platform bringing together educators, clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals. The conference provided an enriching environment for students to gain exposure to the latest developments in eye care, including emerging diagnostic technologies, innovative clinical practices, and current research trends.
Throughout the sessions, the students actively engaged with expert speakers, participated in discussions, and explored scientific presentations that broadened their academic and clinical perspectives. The event also offered them a chance to interact with peers from various institutions, encouraging knowledge exchange and fostering professional networking.
The Bachelor of Optometry, 5th Semester students had attended the conference and participated in the Scientific Poster Competition and has secured 1st Prize in Scientific Poster Competition out of all the posters presented from different colleges and universities of Eastern Region.
